Concrete and Wood Chair | DIY
I made a DIY Outdoor Lounge Chair out of concrete and wood stained with Cabot Stains. This project is sponsored by Cabot and you can learn more about their stains here: bit.ly/4dQDGTy
I used white concrete made by mixing white Portland cement and washed sand. I used old vinyl flooring for the concrete forms. This is a pretty easy but heavy way to make long lasting concrete outdoor furniture.

DIY Korean BBQ Table

I made a DIY wood fired Korean BBQ table that uses a Solo Stove so that no propane or gas is required. The concrete table is made from Quikrete 5000 Concrete mix. I used about 12 of the 50lbs bags. I used 1/2" rebar but wire mesh should also work if you don't have tools to cut steel. The concrete pieces weigh about 140-160 lbs each but I think I will make the next version of the concert table a...
Using Rocks to make a Bench

I cut rocks and used them to make a bench. I bought a couple of rocks for about $8 each and the cut one side of the rocks to make them flat. These beams are 5-1/2" by 11-1/4" in the cross section. I carved the wood with a saw and machete at first...

It's definitly a bend, this just work well in a small table or something like that, it seems pretty fragile and do not look like able to endure weith at all. However its is cool and gave ideas for other kinds of projects.

This is a super brilliant solution. Thank you for sharing! How well does this hold up over the long time? I have a room with almost the exact same floor. I've currently got my gym set up in there, so there is a 6x6' space that has about 750-800 pounds sitting on it. Will that concrete hold up to that weight? Could this also be a a good option as a leveler if I decide to put down luxury vinyl plank over it?

Imagination and artistic engineering meets minimalism. Nice work Ben, always appreciate your content! A material I’ve noticed that you haven’t used; that a lot of times you can get for nothing is pool table slate. Cuts super easy with cement blade on a circular saw and has this beautiful look/feel after a light polish. Made my patio table out of the slate and tamarack lumber.

If you install hinges instead of glueing the sides, you may also have a bed sofa with no extra work (4 hinges).

You should get away from calling the frame, scaffolding. It is not scaffolding. You can use the words, form work or shuttering. These are two proper terms used to frame something in concrete. Scaffolding usually refers to something on the outside of a building, framed from wood or metal to help workers install, clean or build a structure.
